In this episode of “Weird and Bitchin’”, Gnu and Lib Tech riders head over to Lib Tech’s Holy Bowly in Tenjin, Japan. One of the best snowboard sessions ever proceeded. It was all smiles, high fives and international stoke. This video shows a little bit of the awesome-ness that was the Holy Bowly; featuring Forest Bailey, Ted Borland, Jamie Lynn, Blake Paul, Jesse Burtner and friends. As event mastermind Krush Kulesza says “Gas up the van, wax your board and I’ll look for you in the line-up next year!”

“Weird and Bitchin’” is a series, by Mervin Mfg. featuring the exploits of the Lib Tech and Gnu teams and extended family. Just like the boards “Weird and Bitchin’” is made in the USA by snowboarders with jobs.

Recently more than 40 professional snowboarders, filmers, team managers, magazine dudes and photographers traveled to the other side of the world for Lib Tech’s “Holy Bowly” in search of good times, good bowls, and perfect shred. Words can not express how grateful we all were to how we were embraced by the Japanese snowboard community, proving without a doubt that we truly are one giant tribe of shred. Big thanks to Lib Tech and Monster along with Krush, Goro, the Tenjin Lodge, Jaime Lynn, Wes Makepeace, and everyone that made the journey to Japan with us. Be there next year! - via snowboardermag.com

Darrell Mathes is one of the most stylish riders in snowboarding. From Technine to Mack Dawg, and “Love/Hate” to “The Darkside,” Darrel has brought his approach of good tricks done proper to the masses. He also seems to be someone who is always on to something when it comes to styles such as clothes, photography, and even his new Howl glove line. On the music side of things, Darrel’s parts have always featured good music. I’d have to wonder over the years how many kids have ridden to “Bring” by The Spits from his famous opening part of “Love/Hate” pumping in their head. Here’s some more of what Darrell is listening to. - John Cavan

Today’s clip is a hammer from Will Lavigne that was filmed 7 years ago while making Rom’s classic “Any Means” At the end Will can be heard if the shot was o.k. and if it could be better…… We’re pretty sure it’s ok Will and why we’re still watching it 7 years later.  -via Snowboarder Mag
